The hiking experience on the Rota Vicentina was incredible and the landscapes on the tour were beautiful but parallel also challenging.
The luggage transfer has given us the opportunity the enjoy the full travel without to much load on our shoulders and ensured an easy way of walking from one village to the next one. Vicentina Transfers were the best partner for this.

I did not how easy it would be to find and schedule a luggage/backpack transfer service until I arrived in Almograve, the beginning of my self-designed trek. I found the brochure in the lobby of the guest house where I was staying and immediately booked the service. The website was super easy to use and it felt like a minor miracle to leave my backpack in a designated spot and then have it delivered directly to my door (in some cases, inside my room) of my next destination. The only other place I have experienced this kind of service was in Japan, where it is de rigeur for the train service to handle your luggage for you.

We had the absolute best time on the Fishermantrail, we walked from Porto Covo to Lagos. At the beginning it was 35 degrees, we were so happy that are luggage was transported. We felt sorry for the hikers who were not so smart to arrange this for themselves. It was so great to open the door and find the suitcase already there. It made our experience on the trail so more relaxing!

As the planner of our 7 day hiking journey, I wanted everything to go absolutely smoothly. I was very nervous about our baggage until our first day when I realized how easy and efficient these transfers would be. Every single day when we reached our destination our bags had arrived safely inside our accommodations; there was never a day when we arrived before our bags. Rota Vicentina transported our luggage during walking the Fishermens Trail. It was so pleasant to walk with only a daypack. The service was great. Every day our luggage was in time on the next address. With a big backpack it hadn't been possible for my friend and me (age 75). The trail was great. We wouldn't have wanted to miss it.

der Transport unserer beiden Gepäckstücke hat prima funktioniert. Einfach in der Wohnung oder Rezeption um 09.00 hinstellen... und an der nächsten Station wieder in Empfang nehmen.
Die Orga der Unterkünfte und die Kommunukation waren einfach und haben reibungslos geklappt.

We just completed the Rota Vicentina from Porto Covo to Lagos. It was a wonderful and challenging at times walk. We were so happy to only carry daypacks with us. Vicentina Transfers took care of our suitcases. Every day without fail, our luggage was waiting for us at each accommodation by the time we got there. We highly recommend Vicentina Transfers.

In den letzten Tagen habt ihr zuverlässig unser Gepäck von Porto Covo bis nach Lagos transportiert. Anfangs waren wir etwas skeptisch, ob alles reibungslos klappt – aber ihr habt unseren Urlaub perfekt begleitet.
Dank euch konnten wir den Fischweg (Rota Vicentina) ganz entspannt und frei genießen, ohne Gepäck auf dem Rücken, und uns voll und ganz auf das Wandern und die Landschaft konzentrieren.

Super Service! Wir haben unser Gepäck von Santiago do Caçem bis Salema transportieren lassen. Es hat perfekt geklappt. Meistens standen die Koffer sogar bereits im Zimmer, wenn wir ankamen. Es war super angenehm nur mit Tagesrucksack zu wandern. Walk free! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir haben uns sehr kurzfristig entschieden, uns das Gepäck transportieren zu lassen. Was für ein Glück! Denn das Laufen im Sand auf dem Fischerweg stellte sich als sehr beschwerlich heraus! Die erste Unterkunft hatte noch nicht mal eine Hausnummer...und doch war Vincentina Transferssuper zuverlässig!
Wir werden nie wieder anders reisen: so genießt man den Weg einfach nochmal viel intensiver
