My wife and I walked from Porto Covo to Sagres over 14 days this October. We had 10 walking days and a few rest days scattered about, so we could enjoy simply walking. Vicentina Luggage transfer added immensely to this aim of simply enjoying the trail. The process is very easy to set up. The website helps you at each point, with identifying your hotel for each date. One of our stop overs was not on their list - this was not a problem - just give the address and the new property was added to their iteniery. When we started the trail, the rules were straight forward. Have our bags packed and ready for pick up for 9am and leave in a designated place (usually where we found them), and they would be waiting for us at our new location by the time we arrived at 4pm. (More often than not, they were there much earlier) On the one occasion, I inadvertently left the luggage in the wrong place, I just got a phone call, whilst on the trail to ask where the luggage was - I told them - problem solved. This company is the definition of no fuss effeciency. And what a difference it makes, not only the ability to only pack a day bag with lunch, water, sunscreen and a waterproof, but also a deep assurance that your luggage will be waiting for you at your destination. These guys are a great outfit and I'd highly recommend them.

We had our luggage transported in October 2026. All transporters worked wonderfully and it was always a great pleasure when we came to our quarters and our luggage was already waiting for us there. The communication was super uncomplicated and friendly and we are very satisfied! We can only recommend this luggage transport to everyone.

We are 4 friends, average age 67. The days that we could carry a backpack of 15-20kg are long time over. Vicentina transfers allowed us to hike on the Fisherman's trail from Sagres to Villa Nova Millfontes with a backpack of +/- 5kg ( 2kg water...it was hot!) and walk the daily 15-18km with some ease. The luggage transfers themselves went perfectly!!! Many thanks to the organiszatio. It was a pleasure to find our bags each evening waiting for us.

I was nervous about using a baggage transfer company but pleasantly surprised by how efficient the service was, and nothing went wrong at any point despite the complicated logistics with changing hostels along the route. Walking bag free really made my hike more enjoyable and meant I could travel without the need to by a backpack, taking a suitcase and small plane under seat bag instead, wearing my ultralight trail running race pack every day to carry essentials including lunch. Wie sind denn Fisherman Trail von Porto Covo nach Odeixce gelaufen (4 Stationen) und haben uns das Gepäck von Ort zu Ort bringen lassen. Es hat alles sehr gut geklappt. Die Kommunikation war sehr gut und wir waren sehr zufrieden.

What to say...the Vicentina Transfer made our hike easy, smooth and joyful!! They are great, very easy to comunicate with (we had few changes in the hostels reservation and they arranged quickly everything). Plus very often the luggage was already there when we arrived in the next town! I can only recommend it, especially in the summer: with the heat we were carrying on 2-3 liter of water a day, the backpack would have been quite heavy! Thank you so much, we could enjoy so much more our hike!

Transfer of our luggage between the first and last of our stops (5 steps) on the Rota Vicentina — absolutely no problem, and even a solution found for the fact that we didn't have a hotel at our arrival point. High quality of service.

I walked the fishermen’s trail from Porto Covo to Lagos and relied on Vicentina transfers for all my luggage transfers. Everything went smoothly! Someone even waited for me at the bus station on the first day to pick up my suitcase immediately after arriving in Porto Covo. I cannot stress enough how nice it was to be able to walk the trail with a light backpack and to be confident that my suitcase would be waiting for me in my next hostel. I definitely recommend Vicentina transfers when you plan on doing the trail!

Abbiamo percorso le prime 2 tappe della rota Vicentina con lo zaino carico ed è stato molto impegnativo, tutto sulla sabbia poi abbiamo scoperto la possibilità di togliere un po' di peso e così ci siamo affidati a Vicentina Transfert e così serenamente abbiamo proseguito fino a Lagos.È semplice e ben organizzata, puntuale e rispettosa dei bagagli. L'unica pecca è che per alcuni alloggi che non sono inseriti nella loro lista abbiamo dovuto organizzarci in altro modo Nell'insieme direi ottimo servizio!

It was worth it – the service was perfect: my small bag was picked up on time and delivered to my next accommodation on time – what a relief! On the last stage to Lagos, I initially had a problem because my accommodation wasn't listed, but after asking twice, it was explained to me that delivery could only be made to one pick-up point (near the bus station), which worked out perfectly. So the transfer went completely smoothly, and I would 100% recommend this excellent service! Keep it up!

Die Wanderung hat bestens geklappt. Ohne den perfekten Gepäcktransport durch Roda Vicentina hätte alles nicht so super funktioniert. Es hat von Seitens der Abholung, wie auch den Bringservice zur nächsten Unterkunft zu 100 % alles gestimmt. Das war eine perfekte Leistung durch das Unternehmen.
